- 7 to 8 years years of experience in administering PostgreSQL databases as a senior DBA with experience using 9.4 version.
- Good experience in using EDB tool for monitoring
- experience with Database and SQL Tuning using PostgreSQL
- Assist development teams in optimizing for PostgreSQL
- PostgreSQL backup and restore
- Designing and managing PostgreSQL database schemas
- Proficient in SQL and advanced SQL
- Proficient in pg PL/SQL and triggers
- SQL Development experience assisting front end application developers
- Experience in security access control
- Full project life cycle experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly motivated, able to work both in a team and solo
- Must be able to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
At least 3+ years of hands-on EDB administration with experience in below:
- EFM (EDB Postgres Failover Manager)
- Search Path
- EPAS Advanced Database administration
- VACUUM Full or 3rd party tools
- pgbouncer, pgpool
- EFM and streaming replication
- XDB and logical replication
- PEM for monitoring
- MTK for migration from Oracle to postgres
- BART for backup and recovery
