As a full stack Software Developer on this Agile team, you will have the opportunity to design, develop and implement enhancements for a large, multi-client web application within a collaborative setting. You will perform Cloud Development using responsive web design and test-driven development with Java, ReactJS and Spring Boot for deployment on Pivotal Cloud Foundry. Responsibilities include extensive interaction within a cross-functional team to define and design a first in class user experience and troubleshooting and resolving technical issue.
General Responsibilities/Experience:
Design, implement, deploy, and support web-based applications and web services using server technologies stacks that include Java, JSF, Spring Boot, Hibernate and JPA
Strong Experience in Java8 and Web frameworks such as Spring Boot, REST API Development, ORM, Junit, React JS and Jest
Strong Experience in UI Framework - React JS, JavaScript/ES6, HTML5, SCSS, NodeJS
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
8 years of experience in requirements analysis, design, coding and unit testing of scalable web applications
5 years development experience with
Java
Spring Boot, REST API Development, ORM, Junit, React JS and Jest
Developing and consuming REST AND SOAP Services in Spring/Java
React JS, JavaScript/ES6, HTML5, SCSS, NodeJS
3 years development experience with
C++ on a Unix Platform
SQL
In depth knowledge of Design patterns and Data structures
Experience in end-to-end development of software products from requirement analysis to system study, designing, coding, de-bugging, documentation and implementation.
Solid understanding of concepts like Web Services, REST APIs, Message Queue, Caching, Distributed/Scalable Architecture
Solid practitioner’s understanding of secure application development best practices, such as OWASP
Ability to provide innovative technical suggestions & propose solutions
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
