Experience in leading and architecting for medium to large scale mainframe migration projects from one mainframe system to another
Experience in underlying mainframe infrastructure like LPARs, mainframe storage (DASD/tapes) etc..
Strong Experience in mainframe applications with both online and batch components
Experience in various mainframe technologies like COBOL, DB2, JCL, VSAM, IMS, Assembler, CICS, CTG
Experience in various mainframe developer tools used for source code management, file processing, debugging, abend resolution, reporting etc.. Experience with more than one tool for each category is preferred
Experience in integration of mainframe applications with thick client front end for user logins
Experience in file transfer methods within and outside of mainframe using connect direct/NDM/SFTP etc..
