Responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software and related infrastructure.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Responsible for developing, modifying, adapting, supporting and/or implementing moderately complex to complex short- and long-term solutions to IT needs through new and existing systems, software and hardware, under general direction.  Performs system upgrades, configuration and customizations including planning and scheduling, implementation testing, and coordination.  Participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the systems domain. Monitors and maintains system performance and functionality, software licensing and maintenance agreements. Partners with other technical teams to identify and understand problems with systems and develops solutions to resolve them. Resolves customer complaints and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements to applications.  Perform administration across multiple products, solutions, and/or domains.

SKILLS:  

Demonstrable cloud management and architecture (AWS and/or Azure), Windows Server operating systems maintenance and support, Active Directory maintenance and policy support, Powershell or other scripting languages, virtualization (VMWare preferred) and network engineering (CCNA or higher a plus). Experience in standard infrastructure tools for backups, monitoring, etc., Agile development support (Scrum and/or Kanban), ability to work independently, project management, strong communication skills, and critical thinking. 

EDUCATION: 

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field; or combination of post high school education and experience equal to six (6) years.  Certification in Windows, AWS or Azure are a plus.

EXPERIENCE: 

2 - 5 years direct technical infrastructure support in a corporate environment.  Experienced in managing cloud based architectures and supporting applications hosted in the cloud.
