Project scope: this person supports various lines of business / will work closely with the Data Scientist and support same projects

-The data that this person would beanalyzing is all related to better optimizing the occupancy/sales of theirbuildings // We have supported same project at competitors

Must haves:

Must be very good at data visualization // R Python

Must be good at presentation

Power BI

Strong comms to explain analysis and findings to different lines of business

Knowledge of Facilities management experience is highly desired

ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES 

Perform ad-hoc, strategic analysis of structuredand unstructured data across multiple data sources, reflecting global realestate markets and the operations of real estate assets Develops datastructures and pipelines to organize, collect, cleanse, and standardize data inorder to generate insights and addresses reporting needs. Defines datarequirements and gathers and validates information, using judgment andstatistical tests. Utilizes programming and analytical tools, including opensource programs including Python, R and SAS, SQL, Oracle, or similar relationaldatabase tools to formulate models and/or extract insights. Well versed inknowledge of creating algorithms, identifying patterns and insights fromstructured and unstructured data sets utilizing graphs, trees and/or other datarepresentation techniques as required. Identifies and troubleshoots dataintegration and integrity issues in cooperation with the appropriate CBREbusiness units; Designs work flows and procedures. Identifies opportunities tomaximize data usage, applying modeling and optimization methods to develop newstrategies and improve business performance. Develops ad-hoc analytics andreporting based on analysis of existing data sources, utilizing a variety oftools (i.e. SSRS, Tableau). Exhibits analytical rigor, judgment, and ability topresent a comprehensive 'data story' to multiple levels of the organization. Iswell versed in data visualization techniques. Other Duties as Assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES 

No formal supervisory responsibilities in thisposition. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/ortraining to coworkers. May coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within awork unit and/or project.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE 
Bachelor's degree from top tier school incomputer science, math, engineering or related field. Masters degree preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantitative analysis, data modeling,reporting, relational database tools, data warehousing, database architecture,and SQL, SAS and/or SPSS including 3-5 years technical experience in softwaredevelopment, machine learning or statistical analysis, data engineering anddata visualization related work.
