Mad Street Den is looking for a DevOps Engineer who will combine technical and managerial responsibilities with excellent communication and coordination skills to successfully integrate various functions in a coordinated manner and deliver the responsibilities to our customer s satisfaction. Skills we need :
Optimizing our CI/CD pipelines and reducing deployment friction to improve software delivery cadence
Working with the teams to promote application automation, deployment, configuration, and monitoring integration
Writing processes and documentation for system design, troubleshooting, and maintenance
Improve the system monitoring, health reporting, and logging
Incidence management and root cause analysis
Building new services in our cloud-hosted environments
Responding to any incidents in our critical environments
Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage
Qualifications :
3+ years of experience working with cloud platforms like AWS Azure
Prior working experience in Python and one or more scripting languages like Bash/ Golang
Good understanding of core DevOps principles (e.g., testing automation, BDD, TDD, Release automation, CI/CD, etc.)
Has experience with and is opinionated about containerization (Docker) and container orchestration systems like ECS, Kubernetes
Good understanding of how different software components interact in a distributed environment
Familiarity with Relational databases and NoSQL database
Experience in working with Infrastructure as a code with tools like Terraform
Hands-on experience in installing, configuring, operating, and monitoring any CI/CD pipeline tools and security tools
Must exhibit a high-level end-to-end understanding of web application design, construction, testing, deployment, and delivery
Certifications like CKAD and CKA are a bonus
