The Salesforce developer must have a sound understanding of Visualforce, Apex, and Salesforce Lightning component framework. This resource will provide application support and development for planned enhancements for a customized vendor product solution using Lightning that is built on top of the Salesforce platform.

PRIMARY TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES /ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

·         Develop and Support customized solutions within a vendor solution built on top of the Salesforce platform.

·         Build functionality through the creation of Salesforce triggers, Visualforce pages, and Apex/Lightning controller based on application requirements

·         Employs coding best practices including unit testing and design walkthroughs

·         Identify components affected by development process

·         Use inbound change sets to deploy components.

·         Perform all development, program changes and enhancements with adherence to requirements and production acceptance criteria

·         Provide analysis and input for enhancement release estimates

·         Conduct code reviews

·         Perform advanced troubleshooting, especially related to flows, apex, lightning pages/layouts and process builders, workflow rules, approval processes, etc.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or equivalent experience

·         10+ years of development experience with 5+ years of Salesforce industry experience, including the design, development, delivery of Salesforce applications with hands on experience in Visualforce, Apex, and Salesforce Lightning

·         Expertise in HTML/XHTML, XML, JavaScript, SOAP-based web services, Apex, SQL and SOQL

·         Strong Salesforce Platform Knowledge and experience with third-party application integrations

·         Salesforce Data Migration Experience

·         Salesforce Platform Application Developer I and Platform Application Builder Certification

·         Demonstrate advanced troubleshooting skills, especially related to flows, apex, lightning pages/layouts and process builders

·         Experience with packaged applications, monitoring critical logs and systems
