6+ years IT Software Developer experience (in addition to any experience identified above).
Technical/Functional Skills
- Primary skills - COBOL/DB2/JCL
- Secondary skills - CICS/MQ Series
- Mainframe tools - Endevor, QMF, SPUFI, TWS/OPC, TSO/ISPF
Expectations include:
- Work on incidents and problem tickets and minor enhancements based on priority.
- Co-ordinate between batch processing and L3 team when there is a need to resolve abends.
- Work with external and internal partners at both the business and technical level to define requirements and identify solutions
- Analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of technical issues relating to development of reporting solutions
- Ability to work independently and on cross functional team
- Communicate with business users and other IT groups at a technical and functional level
Develop appropriate documentation both technical and procedural
- Participate in code reviews
- Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to mentor and cross train team members
- On Call support is required, ready to work in shifts to provide support coverage, Weekend support
- Production support experience/Utilities domain background is a plus.

Exposure to any Customer management system or billing functionalities is desired. Ability to solve technical as well as business problems by able to provide solutions aligning with the existing system architecture and future architectural blue print. Would need to liase with Customer stake holders both IT and business to meet project goals and organizational objectives
