DevSecOps Architect with extensive experience in DevSecOps architecture and engineering. This person will be client facing and support the Application Engineering of the GS IT Portfolio and help accomplish its goals and this Role will direct the architecture engineering of GSIT DevSecOps products, implement concepts of DevSecOps, and accomplish faster delivery while maintaining security and safety of GSIT systems and data.
The DevSecOps Architect will serve as a senior advisor to Head of Application Development, SRE, QA and CloudOps customer counterparts and directly lead efforts to: establish and document architect design standards review DevSecOps product architecture engineering bring products in compliance with client enterprise standards and evaluate assess DevSecOps software products.
Responsibilities:
Apply expertise on DevSecOps architecture best practices and cybersecurity requirements to make recommendations on improving the engineering and security of existing Azure DevOps Based DevOps pipelines and achieve #best in class# compliance.
Establish and document DevSecOps architecture, engineering, and security guidelines and standards.
Review Azure DevOps based pipeline architecture and engineering specifications to identify opportunities to improve compliance with established standards.
Review product security posture to identify risks and compliance gaps.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop ideas on how to improve DevSecOps pipelines and extend the reach in line with Client Requirements.
Participate in ongoing discussions, documentation changes, and guideline updates as part of a working group comprised of representation from each product line value Stream in the GSIT Portfolio.
