Skills Competencies

• Expert in areas of ABAP on HANA, CDS views, AMDPs, OData, NetWeaver Gateway, Fiori, ABAP Objects, BDCs, BAPIs, Reports, Enhancement Frameworks, Workflows, Interfaces, Standard SAP code debugging, 3rd party integration approaches with SAP.

• Deep knowledge and experience in end to end implementation projects in ABAP on HANA including Core Data Services i.e. CDS, consuming CDS Views in ABAP Programs debugging.

• Hands on experience in OData services, development, debugging and troubleshooting.

• Good knowledge of SAP HANA Platform, Code to Data paradigm, Eclipse platform.

• Ability to lead and conduct Design workshops in front of an audience comprising of both Business and IT teams.

• Ability to architect end to end technical solution while understanding the integration aspects between different modules.

• Ability to work on complex development scenarios along with writing Technical Specifications.

• Very good understanding of development standards, limitations, performance optimization techniques.

• Should be skilled enough to prepare development charter, highlight probable technical challenges, should be able to work hand in hand with Functional, Basis and Business.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead SAP ABAP team including establishing standards on getting requirements from functional team

• Planning on project requirements, design, developments and testing in alignment with Applexus Running Start methodology

• Design and develop SAP technical architecture requirements and specifications to ensure the system is meeting customer needs.

• Preparing the functional/technical specs document ensure sign off

• Formulate Security and Control specifications related to design

• Creating ,Coordinating and supporting User Acceptance Test Plan

• Creating User manual and Training Plan for business users

• Instituting Data Migration Strategy document wherever necessary

• Creating CUT OVER Strategy document and conduct Impact Analysis for developments/projects

• Ensuring timely updation of risk issues during development phase and Regular updation of Risk- Issues Logs

• Tracking updation Change Log for all Change Requests

• Ensuring prerequisites are met before production movement and supporting CUT Over activities

• Go-Live PGLS support

• Technical COE to govern the modifications towards high standards and ensure no operational impact during transportation of objects.

• Manage Critical issues to handle in a quick turnaround time to ensure business continuity by providing technical fixes

• Manage to deliver all RICEFS on given project timelines and quality deliverables in all phases of software development cycle

• Perform upgrades and patching of ECC6 BW systems (including Oracle/DB2)

• Customer communications with project team, ABAPers and internal customers.

• Understand and document technical requirements, perform customer knowledge transfer

• Work within a group of ABAPs consultant(s) and coordinate work with other module leads/consultants

• Take lead of S/4 HANA upgrade requirements and overall road map preparation and execution

• Assist Project Manager in related areas as required
