Job Objective

Program Manager is responsible for the establishment and ongoing tracking of business improvement projects. This role is responsible for planning, executing and completing the projects on-time, within budget as agreed with key project stakeholders.  This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of project team members and third party providers to deliver projects according to plan.  The Program Manager is also responsible for overseeing the project objectives, completing a business case, ensuring key weekly milestones are achieved and preparing short weekly project updates for project stakeholders.

Strategic and planning

  • IT Program and project Management- working with Internal and external stakeholders like System Integrator Partners, Banking transition partners.
  • Ensure Program and project reporting and governance processes is in place to improves stakeholder transparency.

Functional

  • Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives.
  • Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance.
  • Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached.
  • Manage budget and funding channels for maximum productivity.

Internal process

  • Work closely with sponsor and cross-functional teams to develop scope, deliverables, budget and timing for new initiatives.
  • Manage program and project teams for optimal return-on-investment and coordinate & delegate cross-project initiatives.
  • Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Work closely with sponsor and cross-functional teams to develop scope, deliverables, budget and timing for new initiatives.
  • Analyze, evaluate and overcome program risks and produce program reports for management and stakeholders as required.

People Development

  • Ensure that the employees within the Division maintain the highest standards of professional conduct, ethics, integrity, and control in execution of all their daily operations.
  • Drive a performance driven culture in the team by timely monitoring, review of performance parameters and feedback to the team members.
  • Take overall responsibility for identification of training needs and completion of mandatory training programs/certifications for self and reportees.
  • Mentor and coach subordinates to develop the teams capabilities and build a robust succession pipeline.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in relevant technical field
  • 3-10 years industry experience
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics
