JOB DETAIL

POSITION OVERVIEW : Our Project Management practice group is currently seeking a Jr Project Manager who will support and serve the Group IT Project management Office (PMO) tools and processes, with an emphasis on Planview EPPM tools and reporting, dashboards, and data management for one of our global Healthcare devices/Life Science clients, based out of Pittsburgh, PA.This Junior PM is a responsible leader that can follow project management techniques to organize, support and coordinate with good communication skills working with multiple business divisions. The Project Manager will be adept at ensuring the schedule, budget and details of a given task are well organized. POSITION GENERAL DUTIES AND TASKS :
Assist IT teams as needed to manage day to day support activities in Planview EPPM, Project Review Board, A/R approval process and following of PMF Framework, this will include reviewing status updates, helping with data entry of new work records, facilitating the internal cross charge process, and ensuring process adherence. Help with governance of projects and programs by working with the IT partners and PMO organizations to help build roadmaps, ensure resource tracking, and drive IT PM accountability.
Administrator and become expert/go to person within the team for project portfolio tools with a particular emphasis on Planview EPPM
Coordinate and run weekly/monthly IT PMO meeting mechanisms
Training & Onboarding of new users to the Planview EPPM tool and navigating through PMF (Project Management Framework)
Manage user accounts in Planview EPPM
Regularly update IT portfolio reports and analyze data for QBR�s and weekly report outs
Assist with system & process improvements, document findings and recommendations
Assist in tracking and updating project financials within Planview EPPM
Collaborate with Corporate IT Program Excellence team and other EPPM Admins, sharing best practices, resolving issues and testing functionality/upgrades, etc.
Track and report on data accuracy and completeness of projects and their status Promote a culture of portfolio delivery excellence and continuous process improvement attitude
Gathering and voicing requests/requirements for future enhancement for Planview EPPM
