VDI Technology: VMware UAG’s 8.x, VMware Horizon 7. x, 8.x, App Volumes 4.x, Group Policy Management, VMware DEM, MS FSLogix.
o Good Understanding of Multi Site HA Non-Persistent VDI Environments.
o Working concept of Load balancer with respect to VDI.
o Strong trouble shooting skills.
Preferred Skills: AWS Workspace/AVD/Citrix DAAS and VDI automation using DevOPS CI/CD pipelines.
Operating Systems: Windows 2019, Windows 10
Tools: Vrops, Control Up, Service Now
Scripting: PowerShell
Responsibilities:
o Recommend VDI Hybrid Cloud Implementation strategies and work on POC’s.
o Design, size, automate VDI solutions on the cloud.
o Capacity Management of Onprem Infrastructure.
o Perform environment upgrades, apply hot fixes during VDI maintenance windows.
o Instant Clone Golden Image Patching.
o Group Policy and VMware DEM Management.
o Create application package in App Volumes and troubleshoot issues.
o Work on daily incidents and top call drivers, identify root cause for complex issues and apply countermeasures.
o On Call support during VDI outages.
o Handle escalations.
o Create documentation.
