The ideal candidate will be working in IT on the Business Intelligence team and will be addressing new functionality report requests and report requests in the backlog.  Working in collaboration with business partners across IT and the organization to deliver value added visual analytics.  Working remotely, this person will need to be highly organized, accountable and understand how to properly manage their work.

Knowledge and Skill

Strong Computer skills with proficiency in Tableau and Business Intelligence

Problem-solving skills to resolve the issues that appear during development

Understanding of visual design principles

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong collaboration skills and working in team environments

If necessary, ability to effectively work remotely (and be available during the PST time zone)

Expertise in understanding relational databases

Expertise in writing and optimizing SQL queries

Ability to provide visibility to work management

Understanding and application for Continuous Improvement

Understand and use a Value Tracking/Prioritization System

Oilfield knowledge preferred
