• 15+ years’ experience as a Software Engineer with experience in API development or platform support;
• Proficiency and experience with API Management solutions in at least one of the following areas: architecture, design, platform creation, support, API development. (AWS, Apigee, MuleSoft, TIBCO etc.)
• Proficiency in building, managing, deploying AWS solutions (EC2, S3, CloudWatch, Lambda, etc.) Proficiency with Node.js programming language and RESTFUL web services
• Knowledge of systems management tools such as Puppet or Chef and concepts of configuration management in a large-scale environment
• Working knowledge of at least one scripting language (Bash, Ruby, Python, Perl)
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, ELK Stack, Elastic Search, Grafana, Splunk
• Experience with building, maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker and modern deployment methodologies.
• Expertise in designing Integrations between ERP (SAP) and Web applications.san
• Monitoring, Metrics and Auditing, AWS CloudWatch (Metrics, Logs, Alarms, Synthetics), EventBridge, CloudTrail, SNS.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum setting, including partnering with business analysts, other developers and testers, and implementing solutions related to creative process
• Experience with third-party APIs and Web Services, API Gateways
• Understanding of container technologies like Docker
• Able to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to assess tradeoffs and make decisions collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
• Ability to translate business needs to technical requirements and provide accurate estimates.
• A self-starter and fast learner with a strong sense of ownership that uses successes and failures as learning opportunities.
• Good at drawing design diagrams and flowcharts.
• Experience working with geographically diverse teams.
