Purpose of Job

This role will specifically focus on handling MySQL/MariaDB/MongoDB databases hosted on On-premise server or AWS cloud. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years' work experience as MySQL Data Analyst. Additionally, the candidate must have experience with writing SQL scripts, queries and store procedures to extract data.

• As an SQL Data Analyst, you will be part of a dynamic team delivering and supporting Data Analysis and providing required data and generate report as per stakeholders need.
• You will be responsible for Identifying data issues proactively and flagging them to respective stakeholders
• You will collaborate with the Operations, Product and Development teams to ensure time bound service provided as per streamlined process and procedures
• We are looking for innovative and enthusiastic SQL Data Analyst who drives operational excellence and efficiency through implementing standards, processes and automation.

Preferred Key Skill /Qualifications

Working knowledge of Database best practices on MySQL/MariaDB/MongoDB databases (e.g., schema management, index optimization, OS-level tuning, Database Backup Management, etc.) • Database query and tuning skills

• Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills • Oversee all activities related to data cleansing, data quality and data consolidation using industry standards and processes
• Experience in a 24x7 production environment with Gigabytes databases operation
• Capacity monitoring and management capabilities of resource utilization
• Experience with MySQL/MariaDB/MongoDB
• Python basic knowledge is value added in profile • Nice to have experience in Data visualization software like Tableau, Microsoft Power BI
• Understand task create/update in Jira Agile project management

Essential Experience

• At least 3+ years of MySQL/MariaDB/MongoDB experience • At least 3+ years of work experience writing and debugging advanced SQL queries (ETL, data modeling, data mining, database design, business intelligence architectures, etc.) with large-scale, complex data sets in a business setting
• At least 2+ years of experience in data guard, data replication, application scalability and high-availability architecture
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities
• Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with operations and Product teams • Nice to have experience in Tableau Dashboard creation/update
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Key Roles/Responsibilities:

Writing SQL scripts, queries, and stored procedures to extract data

• Understand existing databases and warehouse structures in order to best determine how to consolidate and aggregate data in an efficient and scalable way. Design and code all aspects of data solutions.

• Creating data pipeline, create an optimized query and prepare standardized reports. Develop visualization and analytical dashboards leveraging using business intelligence tools to provide operational insight

• Monitor the backlog and ad-hoc request queue along with peers to fulfill data & reporting needs for internal and external reporting in a timely manner. Become a subject matter expert in report generating best practices and be able to produce ad-hoc analysis quickly

• Identify gaps or anomalies in data and report it to the concern team Product team or Operations team

• Create and propose technical design documentation, which includes current and future ETL functionality, database objects affected, specifications, and flows and diagrams to detail the proposed implementation
