What Youll Do
You will own the development, maintenance and delivery of our data infrastructure development projects -one of the strategic and integrated backbones for the consulting practice. In this role, you will help to develop the technology roadmap and align with practice leadership priorities. Youll lead development teams to build data pipelines and core data infrastructure deliverables to support delivery of insights. Youll be responsible for the design and implementation of data warehouses using industry best practices and cloud native tools and platforms. You will collaborate with clients and product/solution teams to identify solution feasibility, architecture and proposed solution technical roadmap.
Lastly, youll mentor technical team members and provide growth opportunities; work closely with Analytics team to scale the analytical model to production use, as well as collaborate with firm analytics teams to bring best to the consulting team.
Qualifications:
Master s or bachelor s degree (computer science, business, economics, or engineering preferred)
8+ years of experience focused on the BI/Data Engineering domain
3+ years of experience as a Data Engineering Manager or in a similar leadership role
Bachelor s degree in management, business, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline
2+ years of experience managing a data or BI team
Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
Experience leading and influencing the data strategy of your team or organization
Proven capabilities to build and maintain large and complex data sets
Experience in structuring and automating ETL processes based on scattered and unstructured data sources
Experience with relational data management software and languages (esp. SQL)
Proven knowledge about analytical/BI software and languages (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Python, R )
Familiarity with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake and Redshift
Experience in implementing data warehouses from the ground up with best practices
Knowledge of cloud-based data environments (AWS, Azure, Google, etc.)
How you will create an impact:
Generate large and multi-dimensional analysis cubes based on client data
Validate data and ensure completeness, correctness, and relevance for meaningful analyses
Develop and automate analytical tools based on the generated cubes that provide Marketing, Sales and Pricing insights
Manages headcount, deliverables, schedules, and costs for multiple ongoing projects, ensuring that resources are appropriately allocated, and that goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets are met following program and organizational roadmaps.
