JOB DETAIL

The role reports directly to the Senior Manager, Human Resources, India and is responsible for providing HR administrative support to one or more functional areas of Human Resources such as recruitment, employee database management, compensation and benefits, training, employee services, employee relations and/or equal opportunity and affirmative action.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for updating employee data in HRIS and all relevant system database, including audit of employee documents, files, and system database related information to ensure accurate and complete employee records are maintained
  • Processing of new hires (joiners) and employee separations (leavers) and provide support in effective coordination and implementation of employee life cycle management processes (on-boarding till exit), as required
  • Responsible for ensuring timely audit and monitoring of time office reports and absence management through HCM system
  • Responsible for conducting pre-employment background checks and coordination with vendors
  • Monitors the HR help desk and respond to employee queries relating to HR programs, Company policies, employee benefits, etc.
  • Responsible for generating all HR related reports
  • Collaborate with other departments including payroll and purchasing on administrative related matters to ensure accurate and timely completion of pre-defined processes
  • Establishes strong and effective working relationships with internal/external customers to promote and support positive employee relations, Company culture and employee engagement efforts Support HR Manager on liaising with payroll service providers and ensure smooth and timely payroll processing
  • Support HR team with various department related projects and any other duties as and when assigned

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Graduation with post graduate management degree/diploma in HR preferred
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in HR function with maximum years of exposure as a HR Generalist
  • Strong exposure and knowledge of HR statutes/labour laws, policy framework and HR generalist role
  • Exposure in working with HRIS/ERP system, particularly with Oracle is an added advantage
  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Good communication skills, ability to multitask and work under specific timelines/ deadlines
  • Extreme attention to detail and ability to produce zero-defect work
  • A positive individual and good team player who can work well with all levels
