1 – 2 years of hands on configuration and maintenance experience with Metadata management tools (Microsoft Purview, Collibra, Alation, Informatica, etc.)
Strong understanding of metadata management best practices and framework
Experience with configuration and maintenance of enterprise metadata templates including data dictionary, business glossary, metrics/KPI glossary, etc.
Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and a focus on quality and timely delivery
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and still function as an integral part of a team
Experience using Agile methodologies for work management
Demonstrable capacity for learning technical concepts and adapting to new technologies quickly
Ability to establish and maintain open and collaborative relationships with other team members and stakeholders
Ability to stay current with evolving best practices in data management
Must be able to perform under pressure and stressful situations
May be required to be on call for production support 24x7
Desired Qualification
Understanding of data governance framework
Understanding of data Ingestion, data transformation and data management services and technologies
Knowledge on Data Ingestion/ streaming tooling such as Kafka, Spark, or similar technologies
Experience working with JDBC drivers
Familiarity and understanding of Azure Service Bus (ASB)
Familiarity with Snowflake and Azure Ecosystem (Azure Data lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks, Azure Storage, Cosmos DB, ADO)
