Essential Functions:

Mapping of data from source systems to reporting and analytics data architectures

Standardization and validation of data for reporting and analytics

Perform quality testing on database solutions

Troubleshoot existing SQL code or SSIS solutions

Optimize SQL Server T-SQL code

Write stored procedures and views

Documentation of data flows and Source to target mapping

Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes

Perform any other job duties as requested

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, a related field, or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required

Minimum of four (4) years of experience working with data (including but not limited to data profiling, cleansing, and building data sets) is required; preferably at least two (2) of those years in healthcare

Experience building healthcare data management solutions (Data Warehouses and DataMarts) is a plus

Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of healthcare data, including medical and pharmacy claims, EMR data, HIE data, UM data and demographic data

Proficient in Transact-SQL

Proficient with Microsoft SSIS/SSRS

Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite

Demonstrable written and verbal communication skills

Licensure and Certification:

Microsoft SQL Server certifications are preferred
