JOB DETAIL

  • Deliver functional data mapping workshops for key master data objects such as Suppliers, Source Lists, Purchase Info Records, etc. as part of the data readiness activities during pre-site readiness phase

  • Help refine data management and migration strategies to suit deployment specific needs

  • Oversee and ensure delivery of all aspects of value stream specific data objects migration

  • Work with legacy IT system experts to understand legacy data designs and facilitate the process of understanding how to translate from legacy to SAP formats

  • Work with the Data Readiness and Technical migration teams, and Business data owners to review results of legacy data profiling, to identify data cleansing opportunities and optimized approach for cleansing

  • Work with the functional / technical teams to understand what data needs to be redacted

  • Share knowledge based on the target state S/4 HANA global template with the business communities

  • Guide the Business data owners with defining the approach for manual enrichment of data where applicable

  • Work with the data cleansing factories to manage the data cleansing efforts and pipeline

  • Manage teams performing data analysis and mapping of data

  • Manage implementation of data transformation requirements using SAP toolsets

  • Use SAP functional experience to provide configuration and data migration recommendations

  • Work closely with Enterprise MDM teams to ensure changes are appropriately synchronized with the data dictionaries

  • Work with business and technology teams to ensure alignment between SAP solution template & data definitions

  • Work with the Data Readiness and Migration teams to review results of data loads into SAP S/4, and oversee identification of data issues and their resolution

  • Management of risks associated with Data Migration

  • Work with data archiving team to ensure data archival as appropriate

 

What we look for

Required

  • 5 years of functional experience using SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4 HANA, specific to business functions in Procure-To-Pay value stream; strong functional knowledge of the value stream specific data objects and interdependencies with other value streams

  • Experience in SAP End to End Data Migration projects involving migration of data objects from multiple ERP systems (such as BAAN, Symix, Oracle, other SAP systems); Prior experience in an S/4 HANA data migration role or functional lead role

  • Experience leading data definitions development, data quality improvements, data model updates, and troubleshooting efforts with data migration projects

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or any Engineering discipline and minimum of 5 years of related IT experience

  • Where legally permissible, if hired, candidate is required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 no later than his/her start date, unless candidate has a valid medical condition or sincerely held religious belief precluding he/she from receiving the vaccine.
