Description:
Responsibilities:
• Primary Role – Develop and Enhance systems (Business Logic / APIs & the underlying components that host/enable them) for Wireless Subscribers.
• Perform development/delivery efforts of our Business Applications to honor our delivery milestone commitments
• Ensures solutions are well engineered, operable, maintainable, and delivered on schedule.
• Applies and integrates emerging technological trends to new and existing systems architecture.
• Presents solutions to Architects.
• Plans and designs new or upgraded systems.
• Implements the defined solution architecture (both tactical and strategic) to fully manage/support enterprise needs, services, systems, and technology management.
• Shares Knowledge & Mentors team members in relevant technologies and implementation.
• Practice test-driven development in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Provide necessary DevOps Support to the Components they are part of /Functionality provided.
Technology Stack:
• Hands-on experience in Developing enterprise applications from scratch, with contributions from different teams.
• Having sound knowledge and hands-on working in Java 8, developing RESTful webservices using Spring boot with knowledge of all components within the architect
• Experience working with microservice architecture
• Exposure with ORM’s like hibernate.
• Good understanding on cloud Foundry.
• Good understanding on Caching frameworks.
• Experience in creating, troubleshooting, and fixing Infrastructure, associated DevOps processes for deploying Backend Applications.
• Experience with Web Servers/Proxies (NGINX, Apache), Continuous integration and delivery, Jenkins, Ansible and other CICD technologies
• Exposure to Kafka, Couchbase, Mongo DB.
• Exposure to BPM tools like Alfresco Activiti is desirable
• Proficiency in warehousing architecture techniques including MOLAP, ROLAP, ODS, DM, and EDW.
• Proven work experience as an ETL Developer.
Skills and Expertise:
• Hands-on experience with the Technology stack mentioned above & hands-on exposure to working on OSS/BSS Applications (Operations support system/ Business support systems).
• Experience in working with diverse, multi-discipline teams spread across geos.
• Mandatory to have worked in an environment that had Backend (API & Data Layer) Engineers/Leads, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, UI Teams, QA teams & L2/DevOps groups to accomplish overall project goals.
