We are looking for strong Data Engineers, preferably experienced in Wealth Management/Capital Markets domain, to create new modern data ingestion pipelines using latest technologies like AWS Athena, Lambdas, Python, Spark, and Hudi. You’ll be working on data pipelines and tools to provide the underlying data ingestion framework for a leading wealth management platform for Investment Advisors and Investors alike.

Technical Skills:

Must Have: AWS, Python, Shell Script, Spark, Presto, EMR, Athena, Hudi, RDBMS, JIRA or Jenkins

Good to have: MySQL, Dremio, Starburst, Airflow

Experience: 6+ years of experience.

Qualifications/Experience:

• BA/BS in Computer Science/related technical field
• Minimum of 4 years of work experience with Python/Scala, Spark working on high volume data driven applications preferably with in a Linux environment with a MySQL or s3 as storage
• Minimum of 4 years of work experience with RDBMS working on high volume daily processing solutions in the Financial Industry
• Knowledge of AWS cloud services for data processing, storage, computation such as EC2, RDS, S3, Spark, EMR, Athena, Presto, Hudi, etc
• Basic knowledge of financial concepts (e.g., instruments, trades, positions, corporate actions etc.)

Nice to have

• Knowledge of data virtualization/analytics tools like Dremio, Starburst
• Experience working with Airflow
