• As a member of the Product Engineering team, the incumbent will help design, architect, and develop the front-end UI  and microservices to build modern customer-facing applications and websites using the Vue.js JavaScript framework  and .NET-based microservices and APIs.
• The role will design and develop innovative solutions by collaborating with  all involved teams and support new and existing features across multiple applications.
• The ideal candidate will have  experience building content-rich public-facing websites integrated with a headless content management system (CMS) and other APIs.
• The candidate will also have experience in the student loan originations and refinance space.
• Keys to  success will center around component re-useability, innovation, solution design, website performance, accessibility, SEO, and collaboration in the design of new/existing software, features, functionality, and applications .

 

Skillset:

Sr. Full Stack Developer (JavaScript + .NET Core).

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in web development.

• 3+ years of professional front end UI/UX development, utilizing modern JavaScript frameworks (VueJS,  React, etc.). 

• Strong experience with the Vue.js ecosystem, including Vue CLI, Vuex, Vue Router, Vuetify and Nuxt.js.

• Strong experience building single page applications (SPA) and complex applications utilizing modern  JavaScript frameworks

• Experience integrating with Storyblok content management system (CMS) or other headless CMS platforms.

• Experience with the JAMSTack architecture model and pre-rendering static websites.

• Experience with Nuxt.js for building static and server-side rendering applications and websites.

• Excellent programming skills in HTML5, CSS3, VueJs, JavaScript frameworks, REST, JSON web  applications.

• Experience with client-side scripting languages like jQuery, JavaScript, Bootstrap, JSON.

• Experience in designing and developing dynamic web pages using VueJS.

• Experience developing externally facing content-rich websites.

• Excellent grasp of OOPs concepts and how it is applied in JavaScript.

• Extensive experience with Optimizely Full Stack and A/B Testing.

• Experience with view layout and rendering technologies (e.g., responsiveness, progressive enhancement,  browser/device support).

• Experience with front-end automated test frameworks (ex: Playwright, Cypress).

• Familiarity with build tools (e.g., Webpack, Yarn, Rollup, NPM Scripts, Gulp).

• Experience performance tuning web client applications.

• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD Build and Release pipelines in Azure DevOps.

• Experience building and maintaining RESTful and SOAP services.

• Act as a lead for the overall design and development of the software solution in an agile environment.

• Familiarity with node.js for server-side rendering (SSR).

• Basic understanding of CSS pre-processing platforms, such as SASS and LESS.

• Experience with DBMS platforms (MSSQL, Oracle, etc.).

• Strong proficiency in source code management using Git.

• Ability to build style guides, design patterns, asset libraries.

 

Education & Experience :

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree.

• Minimum of 4 – 5 years of applications development experience in a fast-paced web project leveraging above  mentioned technologies.

• Must appreciate teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement as core tenants of their work.

• Understanding of methodologies and delivery of business software solutions with experience in the various  SDLC methodologies and working with a DevOps mindset.

• Must have strong desire for continual learning, proposing new ideas, while maintaining a “get it done”  mentality.

• Must be able to adapt on the fly and iterate rapidly with little supervision.
