Role and Responsibilities:
1.   Build, deploy, maintain and optimize ML based solutions.
2.   Engineer highly reliable and high-performing services for sophisticated ML-driven functionality.
3.   Work with Snowflake within AWS and other relational or non-relational data sources.
4.   Develop deep learning systems for various use cases based on the business needs.
5.   Pick appropriate data representation methods.
6.   Identify differences in data distribution that affects model performance.
7.   Perform data quality analysis and verification.
8.   Ensure data accuracy, integrity and completeness in the various internal and external data sources used for end-user reporting.
9.   Write complex SQL queries for data completeness as it relates to Quality, Risk Adjustment, Case Management, and Utilization Management.
10. Translate clinical content needs into technical requirements working with clinicians, business operations and data engineering teams.
Educational and Experience Requirements:
1.    Master's degree in data science, computer science, health economics, actuarial science, or related field.
2.    5+ years’ experience in programmatic manipulation of data; ideally pandas with python, or experience in python/numpy and a willingness to learn new AI/ML languages or platforms.
3.    3+ years of demonstrated achievement in a clinical setting or managed care organization and patient driven customer service, insurance, pharmaceutical or life science industry.
4.    Experience on predictive modeling (e.g. logistic regression, XGBoost, etc.), survival analysis or clustering/segmentation analysis using machine learning algorithm in Python is strongly preferred.
