The Technical Business Analyst / Project Manager is responsible for examining, assessing, and documenting business operations and procedures of operating unit. Tracking all the activities of various ongoing projects, recording dependencies and tracking where the teams is in completing those. 

Must have strong JIRA, Confluence and Excel skills

Great comm skills - work with VP/SVP 

Prepare decks / presentations - have strong JIRA skillset 

JIRA - all work is captured in JIRA.

BA/PM is responsible for taking all of these findings / updates and preparing presentation decks for Executive – Level. Leading program meetings and delivering status updates to Business Executives. 

Experienced with keeping SI (Strategic Initiative) on track and understand technical terms in order to take notes. 

Translate technical terminology into layman’s terms the Business Executives can understand when giving presentations on project updates. 

Responsible for taking meeting minutes, following up on urgent tasks and making sure they are completed within SLA’s. 

Makes sure all deliverables are planned correctly

Assess business operations and processes of assigned office or business unit to understand procedures, information flows and handoffs, decisions, communications pathways and the like.

Participate in meetings and projects with client staff, project managers, and developers to automate, upgrade, or shift applications into Microservices to migrate successfully into AWS Cloud – accomplishing business goals. 

Create, design, and format requirement specification documentation including architecture diagrams, process flows, and other information or processes needed to describe required system changes for development, QA, and other internal customers.

Develop queries, analyses, or reports from applications for operations or management staff of assigned business unit(s). SQL experience preferred not required. 

Provide guidance or technical supervision to less experienced staff performing similar functions.

Relate these procedures to IT/IS systems and applications that are designed to enable the operating unit to accomplish its objectives. Assist operating unit staff by developing reports, downloads, and analyses from discipline-specific systems and applications. Provide input to IT/IS specialists in development projects to assist in developing specifications and functionalities in IT systems.

Example: Participate in meetings where discussions are centered around “How does Excel connect to the Cloud AWS environment” taking notes and facilitating conversation between various technical teams (Architecture, Development, etc.). Understand the discussion but IS NOT responsible for actually delivering or designing a solution.
