SKILLSAND ABILITIES:

EDUCATION,TRAINING, EXPERIENCE:
•    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or networking related technologies or equivalent (necessary to develop self-direction, writing ability, critical thinking, and foundations of programming and software delivery fundamentals).
•    Possess or has made progress towards increasing knowledge in Data Governance tactics and programs.
•    Minimum 7 years’ total experience.
•    4 years’ experience supporting Data Quality initiatives 
•    3 years’ experience in Data Analysis and/or SQL
 
Responsibilities:
•    Executing multiple data quality projects with widely diverse technology concurrently. Data quality issues could span across many systems/technologies. The analyst will need to research the lineage of data sources and targets, including, but not limited to, ETL logic and transformation. 
•    Participating in the management the “Business – Technology & Systems” relationship for production products and services used by the Business.  This will often involve multiple Technology & Systems enterprise service teams, program management teams, external partners and vendors providing the services and/or operating, maintaining and supporting the production business systems.  This position coordinates, facilitates, and communicates across all stakeholders to ensure management and delivery of services to our customers is proactive, consistent and meeting established or expected service levels.
•    Ability to adjust to project priority changes and to take on “injector” projects that must get done with little or no advance notice.
•    Working with customers and IT to adequately plan all projects and communicate across all stakeholders’ priorities, objectives, timelines, resource needs, and changes.
•    Working with customers to facilitate communications and compromise to ensure the best possible delivery schedules that meet the needs of the highest priority/value projects and still allow progress toward lower priority/value projects.
•    Working with customers ensures that all projects are properly and adequately defined (objectives, value proposition, business requirements, phases, etc.).
•    Working with a team comprised of both internal and external resources to ensure that all projects are properly and adequately executed meeting departmental standards for data governance and quality.
•    Ability to stay focused on the overall process, standards, and architecture fully and optimally engaging strategic consulting and outsourcing resources to deliver tactical solutions in widely diverse technologies. This will be the most complex challenge of the position.
•    Provides oversight and direction for the team to develop solution alternatives and recommendations for Data quality initiatives.  Review recommendations and presents these findings to the business, data analysts, integration team, BI Services, and others as appropriate for a direction and/or decisions.
•    Perform review of deliverables and artifacts for projects and require any misalignment, quality or compliance issues to be corrected.
•    Research, evaluate, and recommend software packages and solutions for purchase and deployment, if requested.
•    Gather requirements, resolve issues, and coordinate day-to-day work, communications, testing, training and implementation.
•    Develop programs (collections of related projects to deliver on business domain/area objectives).
•    Communicating status and define requirements to meet the business need.
•    Review project deliverables (including work plans, status, etc.)
•    Coordinate project and resource activities
•    Review/adjust priorities/schedules
•    Work together to develop, design and implement solutions for the business
