Ability to develop ELT data pipelines in and out of data warehouse using combination Matillion and SQL
Ability to understand data pipelines and modern ways of automating data pipeline using AWS technologies such as Lamdba.
Ability to integrate on premise infrastructure with public cloud (AWS) infrastructure
To work as part of a team to develop ELT code in Matillion for real-time data and batch.
Participate in the development of cloud data warehouses, data marts.
Create dashboards and reports using visualization tools such as Tableau and Looker
Prepare discovery documentation, functional and technical design specifications
Develop and test application software that is efficient and meets functional specifications
Program debugging and problem troubleshooting
Provide implementation and post implementation production support, including after hours
Provide effective technical leadership and expertise
Interact with vendors and business partners for co-development of solutions.
Proactive in communication and escalation of concerns
Maintain compliance with relevant departmental SOPs and provide updates as needed
Qualifications:
Education Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent required.
Work Experience:
3-5+ years’ experience developing ETL, ELT and DataWarehousing solutions
At least 6 months to 1 Year experience with Snowflake cloud-based data warehouse.
6 months to 1 Year experience with Snowflake SnowSQL and writing functions
Hands-on experience with multiple Snowflake implementations
3-5 years’ experience developing SQL scripts and stored procedures that processes data from databases
3-5 years’ experience AWS cloud
Work Expectations:
No travel required
Occasional night/weekend work required for production implementation and post implementation support.
