The selected candidate must have proven experience in customer focused, data driven software development and design, and experience working in all phases of the software development life cycle. They will work with the DOH Program staff and other HHSDC teams to define needs, analyze problems, recommend and develop solutions, and provide the technical support required for successful project implementations and continuity of operations. 

This position is responsible for performing all roles/duties defined in the standard Architect (AR1) Job description.

In addition, the position requires the following technology experience and skills:

-Experience with a variety of the IT technologies and software development methodologies in addition to the appropriate technical and soft skills necessary to plan and accomplish goals.

-Experience with user interface design, software integration with a variety of platforms, data management, data modeling, and industry standard security methodologies and technologies.

-Experience developing sophisticated, custom user interfaces in Salesforce utilizing Lightning Component Framework, Apex, and Visualforce technologies.

-Experience developing web applications utilizing jQuery and JavaScript.

-Experience developing web services and integrating applications with external SOAP and REST web services.

-Experience and working knowledge of Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) and Structured Query Language (SQL).

-Experience utilizing Microsoft Office and Microsoft software development tools.

-Experience utilizing Azure DevOps for SDLC workflow and software code repository.

The selected candidate will be required to complete weekly timesheet reporting in Vector VMS by COB, Friday.

CONTRACTOR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

-Minimum of 5 years of complex application design and development that includes integration with external SOAP and REST web services.

-Minimum of 5 years developing software applications with Salesforce.

-Minimum of 5 years developing data driven software applications using SOQL and SQL query languages.

-State, Federal, and Local government experience preferred.

-Bachelor’s degree with a major in a relevant field preferred.

-Salesforce Certification preferred.
