Support of IMS databases in a multi-IMS multi-CICS plex with shared databases. Critical databases are online 24X7. Online DB maintenance performed with BMC MAXM CRF.
Responsible for monitoring performance, addressing storage issues (DASD), planning for growth, and implementing structural changes required for IMS systems.
Perform periodic reorganizations, based on growth or performance.
Provide on-call support on a rotating basis.
Perform routine implementation of IMS control blocks (PSB, DBD, ACB).
Perform online change for ACB control blocks.
Address issues with consistency between IMS regions and JCL libraries.
Produce statistical reports utilizing IMS Performance Analyzer
