Standard Job Description

•             Develop an end-to-end release strategy to cover customer’s solutions and IT landscape.

•             Co-ordinate with stakeholders to define release management requirements to support process strategy.

•             Understand the current release and deployment process/procedures and compare with industries best practices to provide an assessment report on the Customer release processes.

•             Research and resolve issues identified in the release and deployment areas.

•             Recommend, develop, and assist in the implementation of best as part of the Change Management activities required to maintain the Business continuity and System performance.

•             Maintain Release and deployment process operational conformance to established quality, regulatory and contractual requirements.

•             Communicate the release management related tasks such as plans, timelines, requirements, etc. between different teams.

•             Coordinate the release schedule and resources required with multiple parties.

•             Identify the risks that can delay the release and manage them, such that the scope scheduled, and quality of the release is not affected.

•             Develop and improve release processes, work instructions and release notes.

•             Ensure teams follow the established policies and procedures.

•             Coordinate release package acceptance including business sign off.

•             Manage communication, preparation, and training workshops for releases.
