What you’ll do:
• You will be a Sr. Data Engineer in a horizontal Dev Engineering team thatincludes onshore and offshore developers using best-in-class Google Cloud, BigData, and relational Data warehouse technologies, including Informatica BigQuery, IICS, Talend, Teradata, Python, etc.
• You will be prototyping data solutions to enable faster access to data forthe analytics use case developers.
• You will be developing re-usable data solution patterns to enablequick-to-market data assets.
• You will be analyzing & profiling business data on relational and BigData environments.
• You’ll have the opportunity to grow in responsibility, work on exciting andchallenging projects, train on emerging technologies and help set the future ofthe Data Solutions Delivery teams.
• Manage day-to-day re-usable framework development activities for new datasolutions and troubleshooting existing solutions.
• Partner with product owners and directors to lead technical discussions andresolve technical issues
• Apply best practices of data integration for data quality and automation
• Partner with the product vendors to identify and manage open product issues
• Solve complex data integration problems
• Work with project development teams and technology partners to develophigh-level designs and cost and effort estimates for new framework developmentefforts.
• Architect, design, and develop solutions and provide supportingdocumentation.
• Develop and maintain code for data ingestion and curation using InformaticaIICS, Talend, Spark, Kafka, etc.
