Key activities for the role will include:
• Identify opportunities to build predictive/machine learning models and leaddevelopment of forward-looking metrics
• Build/enhance machine learning algorithm to apply to customer complaints /chats to identify operational breakdown and remediate at earliest time possible
• Lead a R&D efforts to leverage external data (social forums, etc.) togenerate insights for operational/compliance risks
• Provide rigorous analytics solutions to support critical business functionsand support machine learning solutions prototyping
• Manage the development and maintenance of analytical / statistical algorithmthat is currently used to detect out-of-pattern trend
• Communicate the technical algorithm to diverse partnersEdit Responsibilities

Experience

Qualifications:
• Masters/PhD in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics,Operation Research, etc.) with hands-on experience leveraging sophisticatedanalytical and machine learning techniques. Strong preference for candidateswith 1-2 years of working experience driving business results
• Demonstrated ability to frame business problems into machine learningproblems, leverage external thinking and tools (from academia and/or otherindustries) to engineer a solvable solution to deliver business insights andoptimal control policy
• Creativity to go beyond the status-quo to construct and deliver the bestsolution to the problem, ability and comfort with working independently andmaking key decisions on projects
• Deep understanding of machine learning/statistical algorithms such as timeseries analysis and outlier detection, neural networks/deep learning, boostingand reinforcement learning. Experience with data visualization a plus
• Expertise in an analytical language (Python, R, or the equivalent), andexperience with databases (Hive, SQL, or the equivalent)
• Prior experience working with Big Data tools and platforms (Hadoop, Spark, orthe equivalent)
• Experience in building NLP solutions are strongly preferred
• Self-motivated with the ability to operate independently and handle multipleworkstreams and ad-hoc tasks simultaneously.
• Team player with strong relationship building, management and influencingskills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
