Our client is seeking an Application Developer who will be responsible for developing high performing solutions for Document Management system and Enterprise Correspondence Program. The candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and should be able to work with other members of the team on best practices around application development.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high quality and high performant microservices and technical solutions.
- Create solutions to enable implementation of document management system (Hyland-Alfresco) and migration to the new system.
- Contribute to key phases of the development lifecycle. Create and deploy builds on prem/Kubernetes cluster using CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop unit tests and provide code coverage to accurately test business logic and functionality.
- Troubleshoot issues, be pro-active, seek new approaches/solutions and recommend performance enhancements.
- Solve or recommend solution for complex issues and problems.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams: I&0, DevOps and business.
- Collaborate using Agile framework and methodology for software development and delivery.
Qualifications
- 5+ years programming experience working on Java/ Web Services (REST), creating micro services using Spring/Spring boot framework.
- Experience with Messaging, MQ, configurations, Queue/Topic Management.
- Experience in performing build and deployment using CI/CD pipeline utilizing: GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Jfrog Artifactory, Docker files/images, ECR
- Experience in containerized applications (Kubernetes, Docker, Helm charts, Consul, Lens).
- Experience with AWS/cloud environment and its commonly used services: EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Elasticsearch etc.
- Able to write SQL queries against a relational database.
- Experience in Agile environments and methodologies
- Strong analytical and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and be a self-starter.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Systems or HS Diploma or GED from an accredited institution with relevant work experience
- Experience in Alfresco Enterprise Content Management System or any other Document Management System
- Experience using CloudWatch logs to triage issues with services.
- Experience with react.js and node.js
- Familiarity with ServiceNow
