The ERP Business Analyst supports all Infor ERP users and the integrated business applications. They are responsible across all business functions for best practice system training, report writing, and scoping & implementation of system enhancements to support our business processes while advocating for processes that align to the design of our business applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain current knowledge and understanding of Infor ERP and integrated business applications to support the business.
- Collaborate with IT Operations team to manage the lifecycle of Infor ERP and integrated business applications.
- Implement and lead a strategy for business intelligence and data analytics within the organization.
- Elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the system enhancement needs of the business across all functions – Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance.
- Conduct interviews to gather business requirements using a variety of techniques.
- Work with the business to prioritize requirements and initiatives and collaborate with business sponsors to determine scope and vision.
- Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.
- Translate conceptual business requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible by a technical team.
- Lead the QA of initiatives to ensure that business requirements have been adequately met.
- Lead additional technology and business projects as required.
REQUIREMENTS
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or other related field preferred. Equivalent work experience considered instead of degree.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing ERP system design including order-to-cash, planning-to-production, procure-to-pay, and finance processes.
- 5 years’ experience with ERP systems, including reporting, BPM, and customizations. Upgrade experience strongly preferred.
- Able to exercise independent judgment and take action.
- Ability to prioritize, adapt, and execute tasks in a high-demand, high-pressure environment.
