JOB DETAIL

The ERP Business Analyst supports all Infor ERP users and the integrated business applications. They are responsible across all business functions for best practice system training, report writing, and scoping & implementation of system enhancements to support our business processes while advocating for processes that align to the design of our business applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain current knowledge and understanding of Infor ERP and integrated business applications to support the business.
  • Collaborate with IT Operations team to manage the lifecycle of Infor ERP and integrated business applications.
  • Implement and lead a strategy for business intelligence and data analytics within the organization.
  • Elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the system enhancement needs of the business across all functions – Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance.
  • Conduct interviews to gather business requirements using a variety of techniques.
  • Work with the business to prioritize requirements and initiatives and collaborate with business sponsors to determine scope and vision.
  • Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.
  • Translate conceptual business requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible by a technical team.
  • Lead the QA of initiatives to ensure that business requirements have been adequately met.
  • Lead additional technology and business projects as required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or other related field preferred. Equivalent work experience considered instead of degree.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing ERP system design including order-to-cash, planning-to-production, procure-to-pay, and finance processes.
  • 5 years’ experience with ERP systems, including reporting, BPM, and customizations. Upgrade experience strongly preferred.
  • Able to exercise independent judgment and take action.
  • Ability to prioritize, adapt, and execute tasks in a high-demand, high-pressure environment.
