ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Gather requirements, then build, implement, and support Microsoft BI centric analytics solutions. 

• Integrate data into efficient data models, building various high-quality data visualizations in Power BI to optimize predictive and analytical value. 

• Transform data in such a way as to enhance understanding for end users. 

• Assist in data validation as needed. 

• Work with team-based deliveries in an agile environment.

• Analyze large amounts of data to provide business intelligence users with accurate, insightful, and actionable information. 

• Work closely with executive stakeholders and product owners to understand, capture, document, and analyze requirements for complex data solutions in Power BI. 

• Work closely with executive leadership, Data Governance, Finance, Scheduling, HR, Billing and analytics teams on shared projects to leverage strategies. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES 

• Expertise with Power BI Service and Power BI Desktop in the development of reports, dashboards, key performance indicator (KPI) scorecards, and aggregating data from multiple sources. 

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to articulate complex solutions to customers. 

• Ability to be detail oriented with strong multi-tasking, prioritization, and time management skills. 

• Strong decision-making, critical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. 

• Must have excellent understanding of data warehousing, mining, and modeling. 

EXPERIENCE 

• Minimum 3 years of experience independently developing Power BI models and solutions with minimal oversight. 

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a statistician, analytics engineer or data visualization developer. 

• Statistics background; previous experience building measures and metrics. 

• Previous experience analyzing structured and unstructured data using SQL Server. 

• Previous experience with design patterns and coding best practices.

• Advanced user experience with BI data visualization and delivery tools. 

• At least 1 of the following is required: o Previous experience with AI or Machine Learning. o R and/or Python competency. o Previous healthcare experience
