Data & Analytics Development Engineer Primary Role Definition: We are looking for a Data & Analytics Developer to productionize Data Science models for longevity within our platform. This involves working with Python, SQL, AWS, GitLab CI/CD, ETL (extract, transform, load) tools, Terraform, and more. We’ll also look for the Data & Analytics Developer to provide statistical analysis, user data analysis, EDA (exploratory data analysis), and communicate this analysis effectively with the team.

 

Need to have

- Very strong skills in the following areas: Python, AWS (Lambda, SQS, SMS, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, RDS, Athena, etc.), GitLab, SQL, Data Ingestion via multiple API methods, EDA, Terraform, Linux

- Experience deploying and monitoring machine learning models in production

- Experience working with data, data architecture, data modelling, and related software development

- Self-motivation, with minimal supervision, to produce thorough and high-quality work

- Excellent written and spoken communication skills

- Experience interacting with internal business partners

 

Nice to have

- Experience working with JavaScript – React, Node.js preferred

- Experience developing Architecture and Dataflow diagrams

- Insurance experience, Commercial Lines insurance experience
