looking for an experienced front end developer specializingin ReactJS and UI/UX front end development. We are developing a single pane ofglass browser-based analytics application in a modern DevOps environment insupport of defense and commercial customers globally.

Responsibilities

Design and implement single page web application infrastructure in DevOps fashion including: user login, data export, API hooks.

Build visualizations generated from data in elasticsearch db.  These visualizations will support specific analytics use cases and will be built using standard visualization libraries including D3. 

Guiding junior team members and collaborating with back end team.

Use Jira to track tickets and Confluence pages to document design and communicate system design between team members.

Help with user documentation and training as needed for relevant portions of the software.

RequiredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1.        Expert ReactJS knowledge (including Redux, Hooks, Router,DOM, and Saga/Thunk).

2.        Deep understanding of responsive design and Single PageApplication development.

3.        Expert skill in creating mockups and developing RESTfulAPIs. 

4.        Strong commitment to web app security best practices.

5.        Working with open-source visualization libraries (i.e.D3/VX) to build new analytics views.

6.        Ability to rigorously test and document components as youdesign and communicate changes with the team through documentation onConfluence pages.

Basic understanding of back end development (in order to efficiently collaborate with teammates).

RequiredEducation and Experience

BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with 10 years of front-end coding experience and 4 years of ReactJS coding experience.

PreferredEducation, Experience, Skills, and Abilities

Working knowledge of Material UI.

Experience as UX designer.

Experience with Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, Java, Kafka. 

Experience with Leaflet/OpenLayers (or equivalent) for geospatial visualization

Experience with Browser media APIs.
