The Worker performs complex systems analysis to complete software test activities for all test phases of a software development project. The Worker analyzes business requirements and develops software specifications. The Worker reviews, analyzes, evaluates and develops test plans and scenarios based on business and system requirements; monitors and performs system testing and facilitates user acceptance testing. Work is accomplished in a highly collaborative environment.
Minimum Requirements:
Years Required/Preferred Experience
8 Required Coordinates the review of test plans, scripts and results of system test plans with business and technical groups
8 Required Extensive experience reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs
8 Required Thorough understanding of the business analysis areas of knowledge and its associated activities and tasks
8 Required Experience participating in software development reviews and providing advice and assistance to other team members in analysis, design, and test
8 Required Experience performing or participating in unit testing, support system testing and user acceptance testing
8 Required Extensive skill in planning and organizing work to meet goals and complete multiple assignments without compromising accuracy
8 Required Thorough knowledge of software development life cycle methodologies
8 Required Extensive skill in effective verbal and written communications with other computer professionals and clients
8 Required Ability to work in a team environment and independently
2 Preferred Working knowledge and previous experience in support of Texas Child Support Enforcement System financial processes
2 Preferred Experience with the Texas Child Support program
