Roles and Responsibilities

Total Experience: 6-8 Years

Designation: Software Developer Senior G1

Mandatory skills: IBM Datastage, Unix, SQL.

1. 2 - 4 year of experience in ETL DataStage Technologies
2. Experienced ETL developer with strong knowledge of IBM DataStage or equivalent, Data warehouse, SQL (complex queries), Unix/Linux, XML and Schemas, Web services. Knowledge of Informix/DB2 is preferable. Strong understanding of UML.
3. Strong research skills, Strong problem resolution skill.
4. Experience in implementing highly scalable distributed databases applications. Strong debugging and Troubleshooting expertise.
5. MCA,MS/MSC/B.Tech or B.E (four year college degree)

Key position details
(Responsibilities)

1. Independently develops and builds applications within department in a fast-paced object oriented environment.
2. Receives business requirements from client via a Business Analyst/architect/development lead to successfully develop applications, functions, and processes.
3. Conducts and is accountable for unit testing on development assignments. Must be detail-oriented with ability to follow-through on issues.
4. Must be able to work on and manage multiple tasks in addition to working with other areas within the department. Utilizes numerous sources to obtain and build development skills.
5. Enhances existing applications to meet the needs of ongoing efforts within software platforms. Records and tracks time worked on projects and assignments.
6. Develops a general understanding of TSYS, software platforms, and the credit card industry.
7. Participates in team, department, and division meetings as required. Performs other duties as assigned.
