Bachelor's degree in a work-related field/discipline from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience.
8+ years of professional experience in managing highly available SaaS environments as a DevOps Engineer/ Systems Engineer/SRE with at least 2+ years in a team lead position.
Experience with Agile methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Technical Skills :
Proficiency in scripting in Bash and Python – Automation must be part of your DNA.
Expert level understanding of Linux administration in either Redhat or Debian distributions.
Experience in systems configuration management with automation tools such as Ansible is a MUST
Solid understanding of technology stack fundamentals such as TCP/IP, HTTP, TLS, etc. Knowledge of web servers and Cloud load balancers such as Apache HTTP Server, Nginx, HA Proxy
Public cloud AWS/Azure experience is needed.
Experience with version control systems (git preferred) and project planning tools like Jira.
Experience with CMDB and integrating into infrastructure is a big plus Experience with Docker, K8S is a plus.
Experience with Infrastructure as code ( Terraform, or CloudFormation) is a plus.
