- An experienced AWS developer who has experience in services like Airflow, Appflow, S3, Athena, Lambda, RDS, Event bridge, Lakeformation, Apache, SNS, Cloudformation, Secret manager, Glue and Glue(Pyspark)
Principal Accountabilities:
- Contributes to the definition and timely achievement of overall project goals
- Ensures activities are consistent with the project critical path and responds appropriately to changing priorities
- Presents findings at international conferences and locally at group and departmental meetings
- Ability to work on issues that impact or address future concepts, products or technologies
- Ability to network with key decision makers. Performs other related duties as assigned
Education :
- Degree in computer science, public health, data analysis or similar preferred.
Experience :
- 6+ years of related experience
- Strong experience using AWS, Airflow, Appflow, S3, Athena, Lambda, RDS, Event bridge, Lake formation, Apache, SNS, CloudFormation, Secret manager, Glue and Glue(Pyspark).
- Proficiency with SQL and Python
Primary Skills :
- BI technologies including BI/Data Warehouse methodologies design, development and test lifecycle and SQL development on multiple DB platforms including specifically services like Airflow, Appflow, S3, Athena, Lambda, RDS, Event bridge, Lakeformation, Apache, SNS, Cloudformation, Secret manager, Glue and Glue(Pyspark), SQL, Data Warehousing, Informatica, Oracle ·
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts is essential and prior experience in Informatica Power Centre and Oracle Exadata will prove useful ·
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required for interacting with management and peers ·
- Ability to clearly summarize methodology and key points of program/report in technical documentation/specifications is also required
Secondary Skills :
- Strong knowledge of outcomes research and analysis of health quality data ·
- Ability to work independently without day-to-day supervision or the use of templates
Certification :
- AWS Certifications would be an added advantage although not essential
Knowledge and Competence:
- Knowledge of Cloud computing platforms such as AWS and services like Airflow, Appflow, S3, Athena, Lambda, RDS, Event bridge, Lakeformation, Apache, SNS, CloudFormation, Secret manager, Glue and Glue(Pyspark) ·
