- Primary responsibility to ensure that team successfully delivers the stories, tasks, within the sprint.
- Remove any delivery blockers/impediments. Identifying and tracking deliverables while gathering and documenting project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
- Manage escalations from the client, work on RCAs for technical or business escalations.
- Identify growth opportunities within the project. Work on new initiatives for automation, and cost saving initiatives, propose new solutions with involvement from relevant practice/COE/Service Line (SL) team.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies, management discussions, architecture discussions etc.
- Send weekly, monthly project reports. Prepare monthly projection reports.
- Working closely with key stakeholders to understand project scope and requirements in terms of features and capabilities.
- Solid understanding of project management methodology and quality metrics is a must.
- Ability to lead geographically distributed team with varied skills.
- Should be flexible to have overlap of few hours in IST time zone.
Required Skills/Certifications:
- Strong leadership and organisational skills with excellent communication (written and verbal), time management, project planning, people and team building skills.
- Prior experience in managing Mobile (iOS & Android), Java, Python & Cloud (GCP/AWS) projects is must.
- Conflict resolution to understand various obstacles and apply negotiation skills to find optimal solutions.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience out of which minimum 5+ years should be as a software developer and 3+ years of experience in managing software development projects using an Agile approach.
- Experience in developing and executing plans, meeting deadlines and operating under tight time constraints.
- Knowledge of development technical stack on iOS, Android, Java, Git SCM, code review process, implementing best technical guidelines would qualify as frontrunner for this role.
