Extensive experience as a Mentor/ BI lead/ Project Lead/ BI Manager with several clients on BI solutions.
Experience in Data Warehousing (Dimensional Modeling, Database design, and ETL) and Business Intelligence (Report, KPI, Scorecards, Dashboards)
Worked on diversified Databases, ETL, and reporting tools; had ease with understanding various tools and technologies.
Well-versed in running business blueprint sessions & workshops to understand the business needs and creation of functional design documents, user training, and defining support process.
Experience with Relational and Dimensional data modeling with an understanding of Ralph Kimball and Bill Inmon methodology for Dimensional Modeling, Star and Snowflake Schemas. Thorough understanding of DW concepts like Facts, Dimensions, Hierarchies & customization to needs.
Experienced in large database design techniques; experience in data analysis, data cleansing, and data transformation and migration using ETL tools.
Good experience in writing Database scripts / SQLs for analysis, data validation, reconciliation, data fixes, etc.; mentoring the team for a quality deliverable and managing project time.
Good experience in dealing with data- analyzing, monitoring, verifying, reconciling, fixing, etc.
Adept at identifying process improvement areas during the requirements & analysis phase of the engagement and effectively communicating recommendations to the client
Expertise in managing & working on projects with critical timelines and tight budgets along with effectively communicating with clients during scope creep and looking for alternate solutions
Expertise in managing & working on projects involving on-shore & off-shore models; effective working with a team offsite or onsite.
