The Business Analyst bridges the gap between business units and information technology, enabling the deployment of new technology or make better use of existing technologies, working with business units, technology departments and third-party vendors. The Business Analyst job consists of various activities, from core application systems supporting a variety of business processes, to diverse stand-alone third-party software applications and processing environments, to specialized in-house developed extract and reporting programs.
Responsibilities :- Include project management, problem research & resolution, maintaining system documentation, testing and implementation support.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- The primary duty of the support analyst is on the Horizon application and its components
- Analyze and document user and system requirements
- Create and maintain application procedures based on MB processes, including workflows
- Assist in the development and execution of test cases.
- Effectively track testing defects and resolution
- Provide UAT support
- Work with internal business units & vendors to identify & resolve reporting issues
- Perform testing and validation of application bug fixes
- Other duties as assigned.
Position Specifications Education:
- A Bachelor s Degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field preferred Experience
- 3 - 5 year’s work experience in Banking Operations, Information Technology and or Project Management.
Skills Qualifications:
- Proficient with Horizon core applications or similar banking systems.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word and Power Point
- Data Mart, data analysis, and SQL queries knowledge and experience is a plus
- Experience with generating and executing test plans, test scripts and validation activities
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and objectives in a rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to self-start and work independently while engaging in multiple initiates, interacting with a diverse group.
