The Supply Chain Technology Data Engineering & Science organization is seeking a Business Data Analyst to support their product line with data discovery,
mapping and documentation for their CDL (Common Data Layer).
The CDL is essentially a data lake for E2E supply chain data across the Medical Device and Pharma sectors.
The L0 layer focuses on bringing data into the CDL from different systems, whereas L1 is the curated layer with a focus on data mapping across systems.
This is a techno-functional business data analyst that will focus on the L1 data discovery and mapping efforts.
As they continue to ingest data and expand their service, they need someone who has experience with data to understand the dependencies.

Responsibilities:

• Data discovery
• Analysis of raw data, profile data, and find relationships in data
• Write SQL queries 
• Source to target data mapping
• Data documentation: preparing requirements to be handed off to the Sr. Data engineers
• Engagement with various business stakeholders and technical data modelers/engineers to gather data requirements and understand business process

Skills required:

• 3+ years of strong SQL skills
• Data analysis, discovery, mapping skills
• Either Supply Chain knowledge OR experience with SAP/ERPs
• Business facing skills; must be comfortable engaging with stakeholders, sharing findings, gathering requirements.
