JOB DETAIL

?        Our client, a large pension fund manager in NYC, is looking for a Consultant who is a ServiceNow Administrator to perform day-to-day support, administration and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform. You will work closely with the ITSM Manager and support team to ensure workflows are efficient and properly unified with the ServiceNow system. You will provide support and training to end-users of the platform, as well as monitoring system elements. Coordinating with the ITSM Manager, you will work with business users to build requested items using workflows to manage processes. You will look for areas of improvement and automation to ensure that the Service Now Instance is functioning optimally and with best practices

 

THE DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

?        Monitor systems health and monitor and resolve incidents in assignment group.

?        Interact with stakeholders to gather and define goals and requirements.

?        Automate, build, configure, and integrate applications using ServiceNow platform utilizing out-of-the-box functionality to minimize customization, ensuringinstance is upgrade safe at all times.

?        Develop Service Catalogs, Workflows, Process automation, Catalog Scripts, Service Portal

?        Create Develop functional testing approach, test cases and documentation.

?        Test, debug, configure, and document usage of Automated Test Framework (ATF).

?        Review and promote update sets.

?        General support, administration, and maintenance of ServiceNow instances, Mid-Servers, and ServiceNow based applications.

?        Participate in team and project meetings and communicate status.

?        Lead training both in person and through remote methods for platform components.

?        Build/maintain technical documentation (Knowledge), manuals, policies, configurations and processes.

?        Coordinate with team and third-party vendor on application and platform upgrades.

?        Prepare time estimates and justifications for assigned tasks and provide recommendations.

?        Maintain and improve upon the existing ServiceNow solution utilized by the IT department

 

THE SKILLS YOU NEED TO GET THE ROLE:

?        6 years of ServiceNow Administration in an SMB enterprise environment.

?        Hands-on management of ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, ITAM and other SNOW modules.

?        Knowledge of User Interface (UI) policies, data policies, actions, business rules and client scripts.

?        Hands-on usage of Waterfall and SAFe (Agile) SDLC.

?        Demonstrate debility with ServiceNow incident, change, problem, request, and CMDB.

?        Hands-on support of Asset Management, Service Catalog items, Self-Service Portal and Knowledge Management.

?        Report build, generation and scheduling.

?        Solid writing skills with ability to document application configurations, system design and architecture.

?        Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze business processes and workflow.

?        Ability to manage data with tables, the Configuration Management Database (CMDB),import sets and update sets.

?        Experience with third party application integration with ServiceNow through API and data integrations (examples required).

?        Agent Workspace development knowledge.

?        Knowledge of SQL, AngularJS, JSON.

?        Knowledge of mobile development platform, Ajax, Jelly, Glide, and User Experience.

?        Familiarization of CLI to apply to AngularJS move functions for transition of the Agent workspace as Service Portal support deprecates.

?        Time flexibility for instance upgrade weekend.

?        Ability to identify system deficiencies, recommend solutions and continual service improvement.

?        Knowledge of implementing new system plug-in.

 

CERTIFICATIONS:

?        ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.

?        ITILv3/v4 certification
