Note: Only those with strong knowledge and passion for Apparel Merchandising, Sourcing and Business Development may apply for this post. If you have knowledge and experience on Intimate Wear (Lingerie / Underwear / Sleepwear) and Activewear than you would be the ideal candidate for us.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ideal candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of Intimate Wear (Consisting for Lingerie, Mens Innerwear, Sleepwear, Swimwear, Shapewear, Activewear, etc.) Category.
- Would be required to do Market Research, Product Development, Sourcing and Business Development of Intimate Wear Products & Raw Materials for Domestic Brands as well as International Brands .
- Arranging Production Samples for approval, Arrangement of new samples for buyer, procurement, Correspondence with Buyer, Checking the Quality/Design of products as per Buyers requirement and Change the construction of garment if necessary and take approval for same for Production friendly. Shipment planning, Execution Timely delivery.
- Travel Domestic / International for Product Development, Sourcing and Business Development
- Regularly updating the buyer about production status & seeking approvals for various styles.
- Coordinating with factories & updating them about various approvals received from buyer to ensure timely delivery.
- Developing a detailed time & action plan, regularly monitoring the same through weekly status.
- Costing, Sourcing & Orders follow-ups
- Attending buyers, processing of Orders, Designing & Creating Tec packs
- Making BOMS to individual styles and Converting Tec packs to Proto samples.
- Meet existing Vendors and find new vendors for product development or sourcing.
- Report on Sales, Inventories and Projections
- Should be good with advance excel and negotiating skills

- Candidate should be fluent in English both in Speaking and writing.
- Should be capable of handing the domestic and overseas buyers independently.
- Good Fashion Sense and Presentable Profile
- Strong listening, presentation and decision making skills
- Preparing TNA & Cost sheets.
- Up-to-date with the latest merchandising trends and best practices.
- Self motivated individual with a strong work ethic.
