·Ownership of any marketing website related projects/ad-hoc
- Campaign work
- Building/managing flows/APIs
- Updating/managing WP overall (plugins, modules, etc.)
- Documentation around existing/new flows
- Including auditing/assessing currently installed scripts/connectors
• SEO/Accessibility overhaul and ongoing improvements
• Localization of the website
• Building marketing page A/B tests
Projects related:
• Configure trial flow to properly capture UTMs/tracking parameters from form submission on the website that tie into trial creations in product
- Including reconfiguration of iframes script, modules, and possibly the plugins responsible for managing modules
• Overhaul and re-optimization of the website including all plugins and dependent systems (GTM, embedded forms, templates/templatization, etc.)
- Other technical tasks depending on the project scope TBD
Qualifications and skills:
- Deep proficiency (5+ years) with WordPress plus working knowledge of at least two additional programming languages
- Experience working with and managing people; ability to oversee the day-to-day operations while keeping larger institutional picture and priorities in mind
- Alignment with the engineering values imbued in the existing systems and software that you will be working with
- Affinity for learning new tools and systems; capability to test one’s own assumptions and ask effective questions to clarify one’s mental model of a tool or system
- Proficiency with the Git version control system (not necessarily the git command line tool) and at least one of the major git hosting providers (GitHub, Bitbucket, or GitLab)
- Strong fundamental IT skills including unit testing, A/B testing, SEO, security, identity management, and hyperscalers
- Strong interpersonal skills to discover project requirements working with stakeholders, communicating progress, and translating technical for a non-technical audience
- Strong communication skills and keen attention to detail and is collaborative, self-motivated; brings a positive, can-do attitude
