JOB DETAIL


o Five + years of experience as a business analyst or business systems analyst
o Strong capability to gather and document business and functional requirements and assess traceability to a technical specification authored by a solution engineer
o Strong ability to facilitate requirements gathering sessions with a group of remote participants
o Ability to interpret business needs and create high-level requirements and scope statements
o Ability to “roadmap” the progressive development of new system features over time
o Procedure analysis and process mapping using Microsoft Visio, Miro, IBM Blueworks, etc.
o General data analysis and data-mapping skills
o Strong influencing and leadership skills
o Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
o Ability to support QA testing and User Acceptance Testing efforts
o Excellent command of written and spoken English
o Typing speed 35 wpm or higher
o Self-directed / fast learner

Ideal Candidate:
o 3+ years working at a Property/Casualty Insurer
o Knowledge of insurance underwriting concepts
o Familiarity with the Agile SDLC framework
o Ability to perform product demonstrations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization

A typical Day:
· Working remotely for eight hours productively with occasional lengthy days during critical phases
· Daily Stand Up/Scrum/Touchbase meetings with small and large teams
· Online working meetings via video-conferencing tool with stakeholders and team
· Possible long portions of the day working independently on assigned tasks
· Some days working in the office (at least one day per week)

Expected interview process:
· Initial phone screen with the hiring manager
· Interview to Include Work Products/Samples when possible (non-proprietary)
- The final interview will be two hours in duration onsite at the office with the Project Manager and Program Leader. The 2nd hour will be a written test using a case study. The candidate will produce basic diagrams and a set of stakeholder questions based on the case study.
